DubTowa is a free, browser-based audio application that simulates a dub sound system rack unit interface. It provides audio effects including tape echo, spring reverb, phaser, dub siren, syndrum, and a sample pad, all processed locally using the Web Audio API.
DubTowa is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use. You may use the application to process your own audio files and create music for any legal purpose.
DubTowa includes built-in audio samples and sound effects for the sampler pad and other features. These samples are provided for use within the application:
The included samples may be used freely within the context of the DubTowa application. However, redistribution of the samples outside of DubTowa is not permitted without explicit permission.
You retain full ownership and rights to any audio files you load into DubTowa. The application processes your files locally on your device—they are never uploaded, stored, or accessed by us. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to use any audio content you load into the application.
The DubTowa application, including its design, user interface, code, and built-in audio samples, is protected by intellectual property rights. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the application without permission.
DubTowa is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the application will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all devices and browsers.
DubTowa can produce high-volume audio output and sudden sound effects (such as sirens and synthesized drums). You are solely responsible for managing your playback volume and protecting your hearing and audio equipment. We strongly recommend starting with low volume levels and adjusting gradually.
In no event shall the creators of DubTowa be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the application, including but not limited to loss of data, audio quality issues, hearing damage, or damage to audio equipment such as speakers, headphones, or amplifiers.
DubTowa requires a modern web browser with Web Audio API support. Performance may vary depending on your device capabilities and browser version. For the best experience, we recommend using the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of DubTowa after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
